SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS

Single hung windows provide a classic look for any home. It can be raised from the bottom to allow airflow, while the top of the window remains stationary.

The most beneficial reason to buy single hung windows is the cost and added energy efficiency. Because single hung windows have a fixed top sash, it is often more energy efficient than a double hung window.

Since it opens and closes without protruding, single-hung windows are an excellent choice for rooms facing walkways, porches or patios.

In the single hung window, the bottom sash moves up to open and allow in air flow. The top sash is fixed.
